Dear Printer's Ale Patrons,
As you are well aware, our country is struggling to come to terms with how best to deal with the novel coronavirus. We have been wrestling internally with this issue due to the implications on both sides; stay open to a provide clean and hospitable sanctuary from the weirdness of our current situation or temporarily close our doors to help support the efforts to "flatten the curve" of the viruses trajectory. In order to be good neighbors and hopefully do our part, we have made the painful decision to temporarily close our taproom to the public. This is not a decision we take lightly, as we are well aware of the strain this is putting on many families. And "social distancing" is antithetical to who we are as we love our community of craft beer lovers. But it's something that we feel we should put into practice at this point, and we will attempt to do it with love and without going into total hibernation.
To that end, our brewery team is engaged and working to continue brewing the great beer that you've come to expect. Our brewery is one of the cleanest, most sanitized places you can work in and we need to keep our team employed safely and securely now more than ever. And though we will not have the taproom open to limit crowds of people from congregating, we will still be selling growler fills and beer-to-go from the outdoor pavilion. We will not allow the beer to be consumed on premise however and we ask that people not stay and hang out, even though it breaks our collective hearts. The most important part of our brewery is the connection and sense of community it builds with each and every one of you. For us to have to let that go for the time being is really hard, but we think that it's the right thing to do. Please refer to our social networks for up-to-date information regarding our hours as things may change over the week.
Thank you for supporting us and your local businesses during this unprecedented event. We look forward to seeing you again really soon.
Sincerely,
Greg Smith
